I'm a five-time winner of the Alabama Sports Writer of the Year Award from the National Sports Media Association and have earned more than a hundred state, regional and national writing awards presented by respected organizations such as the Associated Press Sports Editors and the United States Basketball Writers Association.

Need a veteran media consultant? I've worked full-time for the three largest newspapers in the state of Alabama (The Birmingham News, Mobile Press-Register and Huntsville Times) and the largest website in the state (AL.com), and I've worked part-time for two of the largest TV stations in the state in Fox 6 and ABC 33/40 in Birmingham.

Need an experienced media and writing coach? I've taught journalism classes at both the University of Florida in Gainesville, where I was named graduate student teacher of the year by the College of Journalism and Communications, and Samford University in Birmingham, where I was an adjunct professor.

Need a digital and social media strategist? My personal Twitter account generates up to one million impressions a month, and I've overseen a social media team responsible for multiple accounts on multiple platforms as vice president of marketing for the Bruno Event Team in Birmingham, Alabama, one of the largest dedicated sports management companies in the country.

Need a professional speaker? I've been a regular guest speaker at quarterback clubs and civic organizations throughout the state of Alabama. I've got stories for days on tracking down Bo Jackson's X-rays, uncovering Alabama's search for Nick Saban, helping to bring the UAB football program back from the dead and so much more.

Need a radio or television personality? I've been the host or co-host of daily radio and television shows in Birmingham and Mobile, Alabama, one of which was nominated for a Southeast Regional Emmy Award, and I've been a guest on local, regional and national radio and TV shows from ESPN's Outside the Lines to the SEC Network's Paul Finebaum Show.
