Seven straight national football championships by four different schools from 2006-2012 was impressive. Six of seven College World Series titles by six different schools - and counting - is over the moon. The Southeastern Conference is good at just about everything. As the 2025 SEC Baseball Tournament reminded us, it's better at hardball than anyone or anything. The day after the tournament ended with Vanderbilt winning its third title in Hoover in six postseasons, a record 13 SEC teams were included in the NCAA Tournament field. If at least four of them don't end up in Omaha, it'll be an upset.
